OPTION 1 - VOLASTRA
Your journey begins with the discovery of Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre: a charming seaside village nestled between hills and the sea. From here, embark on the famous Via dell’Amore, connecting Riomaggiore and Manarola in a romantic path with spectacular sea views.
Once you reach Manarola, the adventure continues with a pit stop in Volastra, where you’ll have the opportunity to taste the renowned wine of the Cinque Terre: Sciacchetrà. Savour the unique flavors while admiring the landscape.
Continuing the route, you’ll cross ancient terraces descending towards the sea, where vines and olive trees thrive thanks to the tireless work of local heroic winemakers who produce limited quantities of high-quality grapes.
Your adventure will culminate in Corniglia, where, after a brief visit, our driver will be waiting to take you to Vernazza.
In Vernazza, explore the characteristic coastal village with its colorful buildings overlooking the sea. Admire the unique architecture and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere before returning to the port of La Spezia.

DISTANCES AND LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY

• From Manarola to Corniglia: 5.4 km, difficult, 2.5 hours
ITINENARY:

• 9:00: Departure from the port of La Spezia
• 10:30: Arrival in Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre
• 11:15: Arrival in Manarola, village visit and start of the trail
• 14:00: Arrival in Volastra, lunch break and wine tasting
• 15:30 PM: Arrival in Corniglia
• 16:30 PM: Arrival in Vernazza and return to La Spezia
OPTION 2 - SENTIERO AZZURRO THE AZURE TRAIL
This tour is an excellent option for those who want to experience the unique opportunity to walk along the Sentierio Azzurro (The Azure Trail), one of the most beautiful hiking paths in Italy, without worrying about overcrowded trains and schedules.
The Sentiero Azzurro, connecting Riomaggiore to Monterosso al Mare, is approximately 11 km long. Some parts of the trail are quite easy to navigate, such as the paved section connecting Riomaggiore to Manarola, while other stretches wind along slopes with spectacular views of the coast. It takes about 5 hours to cover the entire distance, not including time to explore and linger in each village.
The tour begins with a car transfer by exclusive comfortable minivan with English speaking driver from La Spezia to Riomaggiore, the first of the Cinque Terre. From Riomaggiore, passengers will commence the hike along the Sentiero Azzurro, starting with the first section: the famous Via Dell’Amore connecting Riomaggiore to Manarola.
The trail is well-maintained and marked, but it’s essential to wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water and a snack.
In Vernazza, passengers will enjoy a lunch break at a typical local restaurant. After lunch, the hike continues to Monterosso, the last of the Cinque Terre. The return to La Spezia is scheduled for 18:00.

BOOKING DEPOSITS
If you are booking a tour or shore trip or custom transfer, you will have to pay a non-refundable deposit to reserve your booking.
*Booking amounts for tour or shore trip service are calculated as 15% of the total cost of booked services. The remaining due balance will have to be settled once onboard.
*Booking amounts for custom transfer are calculated as 30% of the total cost of booked services. The remaining due balance will have to be settled once onboard.
CANCELLATION POLICY / NO-SHOW FEES
*Cancellations for SPRINTER/VAN/SEDAN service less than twenty-four (24) hours, will result in a cancellation fee equal to the full price of the trip fare plus any applicable fees incurred, parking, wait time, etc.
*Cancellations for COACH BUS and BUS service must be made by contacting the main office. A fifty (50) percent deposit is taken at time of reservation. This deposit is only refundable if cancelled seven (7) days prior to trip date. If cancellation is made less than seven (7) days prior to reservation date for COACH BUS and BUS service, a cancellation fee equal to one hundred (100) percent of the trip total will be incurred. Deposits may be used for credit on future trips pending management approval.
